The children's parties start with a baking class teaching children the secrets to decadent scones! The children make the pasties from scratch, learning the tips to perfection. What is included in parties?

Our parties include two staff to host and provide all prep, instruction, table set up, tea service and clean up. Pinkie's Up provides all ingredients, prepared goods, tiered dessert stands, plates, teacups, teapots, floral decor, cutlery, and a beautiful tea setup.

What age groups are suitable?

Our children's high tea cooking classes are designed for age 8-14. Other parties are listed for younger guests.

Adult parties cater to any age.

How long do parties last?

Children's high tea party celebrations last 2.5 hours to allow time for the baking portion and the formal luncheon. However staff will be on site one hour prior to prepare and 30-60 minutes after for clean up.

What do the children learn in the cooking class themed high tea?

Children will learn etiquette, the history of high tea, how to set up for a delightful high tea experience, and how to make the fluffiest most delicious scones! The first portion of the party is a baking class. Once prepared, the table is set and guests will remove their aprons and enjoy a high tea fit for royals!

Are Pinkie's Up transportation costs included in the fee?

Transportation is included up to 15km from Central Burnaby. After that, there is a charge of $3/km.. (Use address 3713 Kensington Ave, Burnaby, BC V5B 0A7 for reference)

What is a Mobile Party?

We bring the celebration to your home or amenity room offering a beautiful high tea celebration! All we require is a kitchen... Some items will be baked so a working oven is necessary, as well as ample cleared counter space. A table with seating is great, but we can work with your space so that everyone is comfortable. Guests can be seated at your table, counter, or set up on the floor. Staff will discuss seating with you so that appropriate table decor and settings are provided.

What happens if we need to cancel?

All events with more than 7 days notice will receive full credit. Canceled events with more than 7 days notice will receive a full refund with no cancelation fee. Canceled events within one week notice will receive a full refund less a $100 cancelation fee.
